Grace Christian School is a private, Christian school, distinct from public charter or magnet schools. We have met all requirements necessary to accept funds from Family Educational Freedom Accounts (EFAs), as outlined in Arkansas Senate Bill 294 (LEARNS Act).
As a non-public institution, we are not required by the state to follow a standardized curriculum, such as Common Core standards for Math and Language Arts.
While accreditation is not mandatory for private schools to operate or for students to advance and graduate, it offers significant advantages. Accreditation assures parents that a school has met rigorous standards set by an independent professional educational organization. It also reflects a commitment to continuous self-assessment and improvement in alignment with the school’s mission.
Grace Christian School is currently in candidacy status for accreditation through Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS), a recognized Christian school accrediting organization. The accreditation process typically takes about three years, and we will keep our school community informed of our progress toward this important milestone.
